Day 21 - Kremmling, CO to Breckenridge, CO

Most days on the GDMBR have lots of climbing, but typically there's also a fair bit of descending too.  Not so much today...  We started early in the fog in Kremmling, rolling out of our rather cramped motel room at 6:30 for breakfast, and on the road by 7:00. Immediately the climbing started as we rode up the White River valley to the Green Mountain Reservoir, and then further up the Blue River valley to Silverthorn, then Dillon and Frisco, and finally up to Breckenridge. We started the day at 7300', and finished the day at 9700', after 58 miles.  Much of this was on the road, but through all the developed areas, there were fantastic bikeways everywhere!  The other plus to our ride today was a second day of tailwind:-)

Tomorrow will be another big test, however, as we keep ascending to 11,400' up Boreas Pass... More on how that goes tomorrow --
Cheers from the GDMBR!
